CARE

Avoid excessive brushing: Use a soft, dry cloth instead of a brush. Brushing pulls out the hair.
Spot clean only: Dab gently with a damp cloth and mild soap if needed. Never soak the bag.
Don't rub against clothes: Avoid rough fabrics like denim which can wear down the hair.
Store separately: Keep it away from sharp objects or surfaces when not in use.
Avoid overuse: Rotate it with other bags to reduce daily wear.
Leather or hide sealant spray: These can help hold the hair in place. Test a small spot first. (hair spray could also work as a temporary sealer)
Cool, dry place: Avoid moisture and heat which weakens the hide.
Dust bag: Store in dust bag when not in use. Pillowcases also work - anything breathable & not plastic, to prevent mould and shedding.
Use a leather conditioner designed for hair-on-hide materials to keep the skin supple underneath the hair. Don’t overdo it — every 6 months is enough.
